We're closing the doors of our pop-up shop after lunch tomorrow but there are plenty of places to find great design all year round in Sydney.
Here are a few of our personal favourites for finding beautiful pieces for your home that just need one or two of our French cushions to become the perfect place to lounge, read or fall asleep.
This is our go-to place for gorgeous mid-century furniture from Denmark and beyond. Vampt's ever-changing range showcases pieces from both well-known and lesser designers in their impressive Surry Hills showroom.
We're all big fans of Danish design but it's the inclusion of equally beautiful Australian pieces that rounds out their collection while highlighting some of the talent we've had in Australia over the years.
When we think of MCM House we think of beautiful linen sofas that bring a sense of ease to a room with their relaxed, crinkled texture and elegant finish.
But that's just one part of their collection of furniture. We've recently discovered their solid wood tables and striking selection of enormous mirrors that look great resting against a wall. The sofas are still our favourite.
Workshopped is more than just a beautiful store, it's a great opportunity to find some of the best Australian designed pieces on the market - from hand-crafted lighting to a stunning range of occasional chairs.
With regular instore exhibitions that highlight new and emerging Australian designers it's always a refreshing experience to see what's on offer and what's happening in Australian design right now. A perennial favourite.
A room is never finished without flowers and Seasonal Concepts' floral wonderland is the perfect place to find inspiration for innovative ways to arrange your bouquet as well as pick up an eclectic object or two.
Their dizzying showroom reminds us of a mix between two of our favourite kinds of stores in Paris - the taxidermy shrine and the typical Parisian florist. It's truly inspiring to see these two aesthetics combined with such finesse.
Locally made is the theme running through all the pieces at Project 82 who offer a sizeable range of bespoke sofas and contemporary wooden furniture with a distinctly mid-century feel.
Their Charlie sofa by Staple&Co is our pick of the bunch with its clean lines, scandi feel and well-balanced proportions. The perfect place for some hand-made cushions.
